I’ve been meaning to post something about this hella under-rated 90s band for a minute. Abnegation was the shit. They used to be on some vegan-edge power shit, but always had a major death metal influence. And I don’t mean in a fun way like the many bands doing their best to employ Slayer-style riffs. This was fucking hessian shit. In any case, one of their latter albums Verses of the Bleeding ditched the vegan shit and focused more on shit-rock styled lyrics. You know the vibe. I still bump this often.
