Talk about some filthy, haunting BM done right. Our tight Bro John Bundy turned me onto the cloaked Dutch duo last week and I can’t stop listening. The Beast Of the Apocalypse draws heavily from the early days of BM with VON and Bathory worship definitely in the mix but add some really twisted, noisey, atmospheric passages in that sometimes remind me a bit of Gnaw Their Tongues. The production is also sick, it’s really harsh without losing the power and urgency in the music which a lot of bands lose sight of.
