The name Hush Arbors may not be ingrained in your consciousness yet, but if you’re a fan of Sebadoh, Dinosaur Jr., or the 13th Floor Elevators, this is your shit! The band’s Ecstatic Peace debut, Yankee Reality, was produced by the one and only J. Mascis (Dinosaur Jr., Witch) and it shows. “Devil Makes You High” is psyched-out indie rock the way it needs to be - dusty, melodic, fuzzy and fuckin’ weird as hell. A staple for any old time indie fan that will take Dinosaur Jr. over The Shins any day.
