GORGOROTH PREP NEW BRUTAL ALBUM

Time has reached a verdict in the Gorgoroth saga. The band splintered into two factions: Infernus versus the duo of Gaahl and King. A court case ensued, and in the end the former came out on top. Infernus, the only original member, maintained control of the name. In any case, both bands have snippets out of their new records, and Gorgoroth wins by far compared to God Seed. After regaining control of the Gorgoroth banner, Infernus recruited former vocalist Pest, Obituary bassist Frank Watkins, and Tomas Asklund of Dissection. Quantos Possunt ad Satanitatem Trahunt is the title, and those familiar with older Gorgoroth will absolutely walk away satisfied. Less chords and back to the more melodic, teeth-gnashing style of Pentagram or Under the Sign of Hell. Pest sounds as sick as ever, and Infernus is in prime form. Unfortunately for Gaahl and King, we can’t say the same of their newest. Hail Gorgoroth!

Gorgoroth’s Quantos Possunt ad Satanitatem Trahunt is out November 11 via Regain Records.
